Herman Cain….Stupid

What an…..ID  DEEE  YUTT.  Libya????  REALLY??  Friggin’ LIBYA is a big stumbling block for you??  My God, even Sarah Palin can (probably) answer a question about Libya!!!  You can hardly find a news outlet that has not covered Libya in the past few weeks.  It’s literally….EVERYWHERE.

How can you possibly be both a presidential candidate AND be unprepared to talk about Libya???

How can you possibly have to clarify “which Libya” we’re talking about??  What the hell?  Herman Cain….what an idiot.  That is approaching the idiocy of Palin not being able to answer where she reads about current events (reading stuff….hell, reading words and such is for fancy elitist Democrats).

Unlike some of the accusations, this dumbfulness (already TM this word) I can see with my own eyes.  Watch him looking at the ceiling (no, Jesus ain’t gonna help you run your damn head or help you make up crap) and watch him jumping around in his chair.

I thought for sure this was the end of Rick Perry.  But he knew – it wasn’t the end.  His handlers looked around at the other evolution-denying idiots he’s running with and (accurately) said “these other GOP candidates are just as stupid as this one. We’re fine”.  And they’re RIGHT.  This kind of shit would be a killer for any Democrat, because the bar is MUCH higher.  Hell Howard Dean was killed by the Dems for far (far) less.  It’s nutso.

Here’s what I thought was the end of Rick.  How can a serious presidential candidate say he would get rid of the department of EDUCATION.  It’s….I’m (almost) speechless:

If not maybe this one. If you show this to someone who doesn’t know who Rick Perry is, that person will bet 10:1 that this person is totally hammered.

Thumbs up to Libya

This is what freedom looks like.  It has to be taken and it has to be earned – not given.

Can it be helped along?  Certainly.  The French can fight with the American rebels, but not for them.  America can send some jets and missiles to assist, but should not lead the way.  Others can fight with the rebellion…but they cannot fight for the rebellion.  See Iraq as an example of the failure of trying to give freedom to a group who doesn’t want to take it.

And while it’s early to declare a rebel victory in Libya, it appears they are well on their way and I say GOOD WORK to those who are fighting.

Euphoric Libyan rebels raced into the capital Tripoli on Sunday and moved close to center with little resistance as Moammar Gadhafi’s defenses collapsed and his regime appeared to be crumbling fast.

Associated Press reporters with the rebels said they moved easily from the western outskirts into the regime stronghold in a dramatic turning of the tides in the 6-month-old Libyan civil war. A rebel leader said the unit in charge of protecting Gadhafi and Tripoli had surrendered and joined the revolt, allowing the opposition force to move in freely.

Earlier in the day, the rebels overran a major military base defending the capital, carted away truckloads of weapons and raced to Tripoli with virtually no resistance.|main5|dl1|sec1_lnk1|88245

Wouldn’t be too much of a shame if that Lockerbie bomber bastard didn’t make it through the rebellion, either.

270 Counts of Murder – UK Releases

Abdel Baset al-Megrahi destroyed an American plane over the United Kingdom and was found guilty on 270 counts of murder. How many people have you read about who were guilty of killing more that 7 people (let alone 270)….who were SET FREE?  No new evidence or overturned convictions – just…set free.  It’s almost unbelievable.

This terrorist was set free by the United Kingdom in 2009.

Four doctors who treated the Lockerbie bomber for cancer were not consulted over his release from a Scottish prison on compassionate grounds, according to a report. Nearing the first anniversary of the Libyan’s release Friday, The Sunday Times newspaper in the U.K. said that none of the four cancer specialists had been asked about his release.

Oil giant BP, which has rights to explore for oil off the Libyan coast, has admitted it lobbied the British government about a prisoner transfer deal between Libya and the U.K.

It appears that the UK’s new conservative leadership released the terrorist responsible for the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 in order to maintain oil contracts.

England released Pan Am bomber for oil contract

In 1988, an American plane flying over Scotland was destroyed by a terrorist from Libya (al-Megrahi).  270 people were killed.

In the May of 2007, Great Britain signed an agreement with Libya that paved the way for al-Megrahi’s release from prison.  BP was awarded a drilling contract of nearly 1 billion dollars from Libya…in May of 2007.  BP has admitted to lobbying the British government in favor of the terrorist release.

The mass-murderer was released citing that he had approximately 3 months to live.  Over a year after his release, al-Megrahi is doing just fine and according to Dr Karol Sikora (Dean of Buckingham University Medical School), “could live for 10 or even 20 years.”

“We were aware that this [failing to release the terrorist to Libya] could have a negative impact on U.K. commercial interests, including the ratification by the Libyan government of BP’s exploration agreement,” BP said.

US Democrat Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Charles Schumer, Frank Lautenberg and Robert Menendez are demanding an investigation into Britain and BP’s dealings to release the bomber of the Pan Am flight.

On TODAY, Senator Charles Schumer (Democrat – N.Y.), said: “The whole thing has deep circumstantial evidence that points to the fact that there was a trade-off — release the terrorist in exchange for an oil contract.”

“It also says that our war on terrorism — this is one of the worst terrorists of the last century — can be traded off for blood money,” he added.
